The recent novel coronavirus outbreak has ravaged the sporting world, causing the cancellation, and postponement of many league games around the globe in fear of the deadly virus spreading and infecting more people. Here at home, the San Jose Earthquakes and Sharks are being told to postpone their respective home matches, with the number of cases rising to 45 and 1 confirmed death. The Santa Clara County has banned mass gatherings and events in order to contain the virus, with both teams looking to play their home matches behind closed doors with no fans. Personally, I think this would be the right call as its not worth it to endanger fans health and safety.
